The Ascendent Voice Mobility Suite Joins the Cisco Technology
Developer Program and Extends an Advanced
Set of Enterprise Application
San Jose, Calif., August 30, 2005 – Ascendent Systems today announced that it has expanded its deployment of mobility and continuity solutions to OMD – the largest media communications specialist in the world – with the integration of its Ascendent Voice Mobility Suite Communications Platform. Additionally, Ascendent Voice Mobility Suite, has met the Cisco Technology Developer Program test criteria for interoperability with the Cisco CallManager Version 4.0 and Cisco Security Agent 4.0.
Ascendent Systems joined the Cisco Technology Developer Program as a Personnel and Personal Management/Productivity participant. Through participation in the Cisco Technology Developer Program, the Ascendent Voice Mobility Suite extends an advanced set of tightly integrated enterprise applications – including voice (e.g. mobility, conferencing, etc.), message notification / polling, and communications continuity applications – across any enterprise communication infrastructure enabling greater mobile-workforce productivity, accelerated speed of business communications and response, and augmented business continuity strategies to now include voice.

The Cisco Technology Developer Program sets criteria for interoperability testing by independent third parties and enables leading product and services firms to deploy innovative business solutions. The program provides enterprise customers with information regarding Cisco Technology Developer Partner products and services that an independent testing facility has tested and found to interoperate with Cisco networking technology.
